Wonderful replica
Redtail

This combo laser/light unit was designed as an answer to the recent influx of replicas of high-end sighting devices, such as G&P's replica EOTech holographic gunsight.
This model, in particular, was designed roughly after the M6 tactical laser-light combo unit, another compact, powerful device.
The body is a thick, high-density Nylon composite, which takes scratches, bumps, and hard falls , and shrugs them off easily. The unit's rugged construction offers one disadvantage, however, in that it's a bit difficult to remove the battery door without a thumbnail or a small screwdriver.
However, battery life exceeds that which would require you to replace batteries on the field, anyway.
THe laser is a red-colored diode with a very powerful beam, easily visible for up to about 100 feet at night,a nd indoors, where you've got thatmuch room to play.
THe lamp is very powerful, though as I've found, the glass lens isn't exactly BB-proof.
Compare the price of $100 to the conventional price of about $290-300 that you might expect to pay for a similar LAM, and even at a drop in performance, I'd take the Amp unit.
However, there isn't much of a drop in performance.
My own unit suffered a mysterious scratch to the laser diode, but at this price, I can at least afford to replace it, unlike other units.
