Echo 1 M14 EBR RIS AEG

I've had this gun since the end of December. I have skirmished with it several times and performance wise i have to say it is quite impressive out of the box. Stock it shoots consistantly between 338 and 345 fps. It should also be noted that this gun is HEAVY! Weighing in a over 14 pounds it is heavier then the M249 by Echo 1. If you plan on using this be prepared to get tired quickly. The gearbox is high quality and comes pre upgraded with metal bushings and a metal spring guide. I would recommend replacing the cylinder head if possible as it suffers from air leakage. The inner barrel is a custom job and cannot be replaced by an aftermarket inner without changing the outer barrel as well. This is because the inner diameter of the outer barrel is smaller then most after market tightbores. My reason for the 3/5 star rating is because recently I had a failure in my frame. The main portion of the lower frame is attached to the motor and stock housing by two tabs. One of mine broke leading to a failure of both. I was able to JB Weld it back on and create a single solid piece. It has held up well so far but has not seen a large amount of punishment yet. To sum it up, this is a good rifle for some dmr work or possibly as a makeshift saw (provided you add a bipod). It has a great ROF and FPS out of the box and will reach well over 100 feet(thats as far as i measured).
