Kar 98 is a replica of the famous WWII German rifle. It is a spring bolt action with a 5 round internal clip with imitation shell casings that hold BBs. The gun is made of metal and imitation wood that looks and feels like the real thing. To make this gun even more unique the spring mechanism is unlike any other springer out there, the resistance to arm the gun is felt as the bolt is pushed forward instead of backward. For a little extra added realism there is a functioning safety atop the the rear of the bolt and adjustable rear sight. Working the action takes some precise operations and can be difficult to operate in the heat of battle. However, this airsoft gun looks and feels great; a wonderful addition to any collection.

This gun is really cool. When I pulled it out of the box I had to knock on the "wood" stock to see if it was real wood or not. It feels great in your hands, well balanced, and has a good heft to it.
The bolt action is pretty smooth and came greased from the factory. The "bullets" are cool, but silver, not brass in color like in the pictures. It shoots great and had a good grouping.
Looking forward to taking it out to a WW2 Airsoft event soon!
