I've been playing airsoft for quite a while now, and have therefore tried out many of the major brand BBs; Crosman, Matrix, TSD, Excel, etc. However, none of these BBs provided the greatest accuracy, nor were they the best quality. The Spartan Import Javelin BBs, however, have managed to rise above.
Each BB is finely polished, resulting in no imperfections (or close to) such as rough texture and ridges. Also, the BBs' weight is closer to that of .23g. These attributes have allowed for very tight grouping of the BBs(not taking into account BB fall). This is even without having tight-bore barrels installed in my airsoft guns. This is different from the Crosman Precision .20g, which hold a large spread radius. Also, there seems to be an increase in FPS (exact crono results will be listed in a few days) as well as range. One of the more appealing aspects is, that for a better quality BB, the Javelins cost only $2.00 than the Crosman .20g that are found at local superstores.
One of the only faults to the Javelin .20s is that the BBs are a bit softer than the other brands, which could damage the BBs when being loaded into a pistol magazine.
Overall:
pros:
increase in accuracy and range
lower cost
smooth/ polished
cons:
not a great fit with CO2 Pistol style cartridges that require extra force
9.5/10
