KJW Colt M1911A1 Gas Blow Back Semi-Auto Pistol with Full Metal Slide


Used in WWI & II, Korea, Vietnam and several other US conflicts, this is a classic. Designed because the .38 revolver used at the time lacked the knock-down power needed to take down a drugged up adversary in the pacific and cuba, the .45 met the criteria so well it was used until the 1980s, when under pressure from NATO to use their adopted 9mm round for higher magazine capacity, the US Army adopted the M9 Beretta and replaced this piece of history.


KJW M1911A1 is a tribute to a true legend. Every part including the safety features are faithfully reproduced. This "Full Metal" version comes with a gas system that utilizes a new lightweight piston that increases the weapon cycle rate which provides for a crisp and realistic blow back action. The frame and slide of the M1911A1 are constructed from high quality alloy and made to a 1:1 ratio of the real firearm it replicates. Weights are strategically distributed during production process to closely match the weight and balance of the real firearm.
