Fantastic dump pouch. Can fold back the top flap (has a patch of velcro to keep it folded down, which is excellent) to drop spent mags through the elastic opening. Can be worn at full length with the provided buckle and attachment, or up high if you bypass using the buckle/belt attachment and just using the nylon strip (which is adjustable vertically as it is). I find this a more stable platform than at full length. Also, the top portion of the pouch itself has a sturdy (yet flexible) strip that helps keep the pouch expanded instead of flattening out. You can dump spent mags through the aforementioned elastic opening under the top flap or by pulling the entire top cover up itself - however, this method is primarily for taking the mags back out; I'm unsure why anyone would do it this way as it is slower and noisier. The elastic opening is versatile enough and the pouch is big enough for me to dump two MP5 mags that are secured together with a dual mag-clamp (a Mag-Grip to be exact) - it should work equally as well with two M4 mags coupled together. This alone nets it 4 stars from me, and the versatility of leg height adjustment, giving me the ability to wear it close to/on my belt, bumps it up to 5.
