M1961 Field Pack aka "Butt Pack"
This pack is worn on the pistol belt in the small of the back , it is attached to the belt and the suspenders that attach to the front of the belt.
The pack was issued through out the Vietnam era and up until the 1980's.
The M-1956 pack was replaced by the M-1961 pack in 1961 although both were used for years in service.
This is USGI surplus in Good/USED condition. Most have more wear than the
photo and have seen extensive use, some may have repairs but they are complete with all
straps.
